8. Operation
a) Connecting Charger to Power Supply.
If both power inputs are connected at the same time,
theACinput(7)willworkandtheDCinput(8) will not
work.
The device was constructed according to protection
class II. Only aproper mains socket (100-240 V/AC
50/60 Hz) of the public supply net must be used as
voltage source.
• Connect one end of the suppliedAC cable to the charger
input:100-240V/AC(7).
• Connecttheotherendtoasuitablepowersupply.
• The charger will perform a self test. When the screen goes
blank it is ready for charging.
b) Charging Batteries
The charger is compatible with the following rechargeable battery
types:
• Ni-MH/Ni-Cd:AAandAAA.
• Ni-MH: 9-volt
The device will automatically stop charging when the
battery is full.
