Using the Tester
The tester should be clean before starting the testing procedure. Pump and ush
clean warm water through the tester if needed.
Risk of burns! Make sure vehicle engine is cool before testing.
• Remove the radiator or expansion tank cap.
• Insert the tester hose (6) and squeeze the pump (1) to draw uid into the tester.
Fill to the FLUID LEVEL line.
• Line the tester up so the small arrow (2) is lined up vertically between the
crosshairs as shown.
• Tap the tester body (3) to remove any air bubbles.
• The large arrow (4) indicates the freeze point (5) / boiling point (7).
• Return the uid to radiator by squeezing the pump, then rinse the inside of the tester out by
ushing with clean warm water.
- If needed, replace or add additional antifreeze/coolant.
- The readings may not be accurate if the antifreeze/coolant is dirty or contains rust. If
needed, ush and rell the cooling system then test again.
Care and Cleaning
• Pump then ush clean warm water through the tester before and after each use.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as they can cause damage to the housing and
malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, bre-free cloth.

Antifreeze and Coolant Tester

Intended Use
This product is used to test vehicle antifreeze/coolant to avoid winter freezing and summer
overheating. It works with all ethylene glycol mixtures, indicating the freezing and boiling points
of your mixture. A clear container allows you to inspect the uid for rust, sludge, or other debris.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store
them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating
instructions.

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• The use of safety glasses and protective gloves are recommended when removing
the radiator cap.
Avoid contact with skin. Wash with soap and water in case of skin contact. Do not
swallow. Contact a doctor immediately if swallowed.
• Risk of burns! The radiator cap should never be removed when the car is running
or the engine is warm. The liquid in the radiator can become extremely hot and
cause harm.
• Refer to your vehicle operating instructions and consider your location to
determine the best antifreeze/coolant to water ratio for your vehicle.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation or safety of the tester.
