Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- There are signs of damage
- The device does not function properly
- The device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- The device has been subjected to considerable stress during transport
Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
Do not cascade the adapter with switch. Do not connect several adapters one
after the other.
The product must be operated under the supervision of qualied personnel in
schools, educational facilities, hobby and DIY workshops.
Operation
Connect the adapter with switch to a proper 230 V/AC 50 Hz household socket.
If the adapter is turned on via the switch, the switch is illuminated. Make sure that the adapter
is deactivated (switch = not lit).
Connect a consumer to the adapter.
Press the switch to switch on the adapter and thus activate the connected consumer. The
switch is now lit.
Press the switch again to switch off the adapter and thus deactivate the connected consumer.
Switch lights off.
The adapter requires <0.5 watts when switched off.
Care and Cleaning
In any case, disconnect the adapter with switch from the power supply before cleaning the
product.
To clean the housing, a clean, lint-free, dry antistatic cloth may be used. Do not use abrasive
or chemical agents, or cleaners containing solvents.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines. You thus fulll your statutory obligations and
contribute to the protection of the environment.

Intended Use
A connected consumer can be switched on or off via the safety mat with this adapter with
switch. A maximum load of 3680 watts can be connected and switched to the adapter.
The adapter with switch is only suitable for operation in dry indoor areas.
It is powered via 230 V/AC 50 Hz.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, res, electric shocks or other hazards. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or

The unauthorised conversion and/or modication of the product is prohibited for
safety and approval reasons.
The product is designed in accordance with protection class I. Only a standard
mains socket (230V~/50Hz with protective earth) for the public supply grid may
be used as a power source.
The product is not a toy and is not for children! Therefore, be especially careful
when children are around. Children might try to push objects through the socket
openings, for example. There is a danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
The adapter with switch is only suitable for operation in dry indoor areas.
Never touch the product, or the mains plug, with wet or damp hands when trying to
connect a plug to the front socket. There is a danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
Never pull out a mains plug plugged into the front socket of the adapter using the
cable. Always pull the plug out of the front socket by gripping the area on its sides.
Do not overload the product (take note of the input power in the technical data at
the end of the operating manual!).
Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around; it can become a
dangerous plaything for children.
Handle the product with care, it will be damaged by jolts, impacts or a fall from a
low height.
If the product casing is damaged, stop using it ! If it is still connected to the mains
voltage, do not touch the adapter with switch or a connected device. First switch
off the mains socket to which the adapter with switch is connected, de-energized
(switch off automatic circuit breaker). Only then remove the adapter with switch
from the mains socket. Take the product to a specialist repair centre or dispose of
it in an environmentally friendly manner.
Opening covers on the product or removing parts that cannot be removed by hand
may expose voltage-carrying components. Further, the connection points may be
live. If the appliance needs to be opened for calibration, servicing, repair or to
replace parts or circuit boards, it must be disconnected rst from all sources of
current. If it is unavoidable to carry out the maintenance or repair of the opened
equipment under voltage, this must only be done by a specialist who is familiar
with the associated hazards or relevant regulations.
