Remove the cover via the cover release tab (9).
Insert one CR2032 battery into the battery slot (14), matching polarities as shown.
Gently press the battery all the way in until it “clicks” into place.
Remove the battery using the battery release tab (13).

b) Doorbell Chime
The batteries may need to be replaced if the speaker volume is low or there is no sound at all.
Open the battery compartment cover (5) and insert 3 x AA type batteries, matching polarities
as shown inside the compartment.
Replace the cover.
Operation
Press the bell push button (7). The LED status indicator (10) will light up and a signal will be
transmitted to the doorbell chime.
When the doorbell chime receives the wireless signal from the bell push, a chime will play
through the speaker (3). The LED status indicator (4) lights up while a chime is playing.
Doorbell Chime (Power Adaptor)
You can power your doorbell chime via a 5 V/DC 1A power adaptor (not included).
Before doing this you must remove any inserted batteries!
Remove any inserted batteries.
Connect one end of the adaptor to the device 5 V/DC 1A power input (1), and the other end
to a power outlet.
See section “Technical Data” for details about the “Power Adaptor”.
Reconnect Bell Push to Doorbell Chime
The bell push will already be paired to the doorbell chime when you receive it. If the connection
is broken check the batteries and transmission range before attempting to reconnect.
To reconnect:

Press PLAY (11) to hear the current doorbell chime.
Press SELECT (12) to cycle through different doorbell chimes.
Replace the housing.
Transmission Range
Under optimum conditions, the maximum transmission range between the doorbell
chime and bell push is 70m.
Factors that could lower transmission range include:
Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings.
Coated/metallised insulated glass.
Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g., radiators).
Proximity to human bodies.
Broadband interference, e.g. in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobile phones,
radio-controlled headphones, radio-controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations,
baby monitors etc.).
Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units, computers.
Proximity to badly shielded or uncovered computers in use or other electrical appliances.
