7. Setup and preparation
Switch the product off and remove battery pack before assembly, cleaning, adjustments, maintenance,
storage and transportation.
Always wear gloves when handling the product.
a) Installing blades
Always clean out all foreign matter residues adhering to the blade and/or blade holder. Failure to do so may
cause insufcient tightening of the blade, resulting in a serious personal injury.
Installation must be carried out when the battery pack is removed from the product to prevent injury.
The blades are not supplied with the product. Use undamaged T-shank blade that is appropriate for
the cutting task. Using non-T-shank blades may result in blades coming loose from the tool, resulting in
personal injury or property damage (Ú Fig. 1).

1. Remove the battery pack from the product (if already installed).
2. Turn the clamping lever (2) clockwise and hold it in position (Fig. 2).
