• After the connection has been made, the connection area on the rear of the outdoor unit
must be closed via the enclosed plastic cover; insert the rubber ring into the plastic cover
rst.Itisusedasaseal.
Attach the plastic cover on the rear of the outdoor unit with four small screws.
• Attach the outdoor unit (with attached weather protection frame) to the wall with four
suitable screws and, if required, dowels.
• Pushthealuminiumcoverontotheoutdoorunit(rstontop,thenatthebottom).
Make sure that the bell button moves smoothly and is not caught.
• Fasten the aluminium cover with the screws removed earlier.
8. Installation of the Indoor Unit
Depending on version, you need to install one, two or three indoor units. Observe the connection
assignment (see chapter 9).
When drilling or tightening screws, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged! The same applies when
placing connection cables and cables for voltage/power supply and any masonry work required because of
this.
• Turn the screw (8) out at the front of the indoor unit.
• Take off the front cover (fold it a little way out; it can then be removed easily).
• Mark the mounting position on the wall through the two holes of the bottom plate of the indoor unit.
Choosetheinstallationheighttomakeiteasytotakeoffthehandsetandtooperatethebuttons.
• Place the connection cable between the outdoor and indoor unit and the power supply.
The procedure for the wiring of the outdoor unit and the connection to the voltage/power supply is described
in chapter 9.
• Mount the bottom plate with two suitable screws and poss. dowels on the wall.
• Putthefrontcoverontothebottomplate(attachtothetoprstandthenfolddown).
• Fasten the front cover with the screw removed earlier.
• Connecttheconnectioncable(11)tothecorrespondingsocket(15)atthebottomofthehandset.
• Connectthehandsettotheindoorunit;theopening(13)atthehandsetissuspendedonthesmallhookbelowthe
rocker button (7).
