i) Hot-air operation
In this mode, the cooking chamber heats up due to hot air being distributed in the cooking chamber. The food is evenly
browned and crisped at the same time.
Without preheating
• Open the door, place the food in the cooking chamber and close the door.
• In standby mode, press the button Heißluft(19)(hot-air).The“ ”symbolisshownonthedisplay.
• RepeatedlypressthebuttonHeißluft(hot-air)tosetthetemperaturein10°Cincrementsbetween110-200°C.
• Set the cooking time.
• Press the button Start/Schnellstart(start/quickstart).Cookingstarts.The“ ”symbolstartstoash.
During operation, press and hold the button Heißluft(hot-air)todisplaythesettemperatureinsteadofthe
countdown.Releasethebuttontodisplaythecountdownagain.
With preheating

j) Defrost operation
This mode allows you to defrost frozen meat and poultry according to their weight. The microwave oven determines
the necessary power level and regulates pauses based on weight.
• Open the door, place the frozen foods in the cooking chamber and close the door.
• Use the button Auftauen(21)(defrost)toselect“MEATDEFROST”or“POULTRYDEFROST”.
• Repeatedlypressthebutton Gewicht/Küchentimer (20) (weight/timer)tosetthe weight in100gincrements
between 100 g and 1800 g. The “ ”and“ ”symbolsappearonthedisplay.
• Press the button Start/Schnellstart(start/quickstart).Defrostingstarts.The“ ”symbolstartstoash.The
“ ”symbolremainsonthedisplay.
Turn the frozen foods when 4 beeps sound. If you do not turn the frozen foods, the result may possibly be
unsatisfactory. Press the button Start/Schnellstart(start/quickstart)tocontinuecooking.
