12. Before rst operation
Refertotheinstructionsinchapter“8.Hazardsposedbymicrowaveradiation”onpage37
Removeallpackagingmaterialsandverifythatnopartsaremissingordamaged.Donotuseadamagedmicrowave
or damaged accessories.
Removetheaccessoriesandthepackingmaterialfromthecookingchamber(12).
Removetheprotectivelmsfromthehousingandtheappliance.
Cleantheproductandremovableattachmentstoremoveanyfactoryresidues.Formoreinformation,seechapter
“15.Careandcleaning”onpage51.
13. Operation
a) Set-up
Donotremovethestands(13)andthespacer(5).
The product may not be placed in a cabinet.
Do not cover or block the appliance’s openings.
Select a set-up site that places hot surfaces out of the reach of children.
Selectaat,horizontalandheat-resistantset-upsurfacethatisstable
enough to withstand the weight of the microwave and the heaviest foods
you might cook in the microwave.
If necessary, place a protective mat beneath the appliance to protect the
working surface.
Set up the product near a wall socket.
Ensuresufcientventilationwhensettinguptheproduct.Keepaminimum
distance of 20 cm to the top, 10 cm to the back and 5 cm on both sides of
the product. The back of the product should be placed on a wall.
Microwave operation may cause radio interference with televisions, radios or similar devices. Set up the
microwave as far as possible away from such devices to prevent reception interference.
