10. Appropriate dishes and kitchen utensils
• If possible, use transparent dishes. They permit microwave beams to pass more easily. This results in food heating
more evenly.
• Microwave beams do not pass through metal. Do not use metal containers.
• Do not use dishes made of recycled paper, as they include low amounts of metal, which can cause sparking. Fire
hazard!
• Roundandovaldishesarebettersuitedthanangularones,becausefoodinthecornerscouldoverheatandboil
over.
• Youmaycoversensitiveareaswithsomenarrowstripsofaluminiumfoiltoavoidoverheating.Keepaminimum
distance of approx. 2.5 cm between the aluminium foil and the sides of the cooking chamber.

11. Information on microwave cooking
• Alwaysplacethefoodorthegrillingplate(9)withfoodcentredontheglassrotatingplate(1).Makesurethat
nothingprotrudesfromtheedgeoftheglassrotatingplateandthefoodisnottouchingtheheatingelement(2).
• Carefullyarrangethefood.Placethickeredgesoffoodattheedgesoftheglassrotatingplateordish.
• Observethecookingtimedurationtopreventfoodfromoverheating.Usetheshortestspeciedcookingtimerst.
If necessary, you can extend the cooking time.
• Coverfoodduringcookingtopreventsplashingandtoensurefoodiscookedevenly.
• Interrupt cooking to stir, turn over or rearrange the food. In this way, your food heats evenly.
