Charging the battery
If the status LED (2) ashes red, it
means there is a problem with the
battery. Disconnect from the power
supply (if connected) and contact our
technical support service or other
technical personnel.
• Connect one end of the charging cable to the
micro USB power input (1), and the other end to
a suitable power source capable of supplying an
output current of min. 1. A.
• The status LED (2) will light red during charging
and turn green when fully charged.
Operation
• Remove the soldering iron from the stand.
• Press and hold the power button (3) for 3 secs
to turn it ON.
- The status LED will light red to indicate the
power is ON and the soldering tip (4) is
heating up.
- When the tip reaches max. temperature of
450 ºC, the status LED will light green. This
takes approx. 25 secs.
- The work light LED’s (7) will turn on to help
illuminate the workpiece.
The soldering iron will automatically shut
down after 10 mins of use. The work
light and status LED’s will turn off. Press
the power button to turn the soldering
iron back on.
• When finished soldering, press the power button
to turn the power OFF
• Wipe the soldering tip on a wetted sponge (6),
then place the iron back into the stand.
Replace the tip
• Turn the power off and allow the tip to completely
cool down.
• Unscrew the old tip at the knurling by rotating
counterclockwise and replace with a new one.

Troubleshooting
Problem Suggestion
Tip does not
heat up at all.
• Battery might be flat, try to
recharge it.
• The USB charging cable or
power source may be faulty.
Tip does not get
hot enough.
• Let the tip cool down
completely and check it is
screwed in all the way.
• The tip may be faulty.
Maintenance and care
• Always keep the tip tinned before switching off or
storing for any period of time.
• Do not keep the iron on for an extended period of
time as this will break down the surface of the tip.
• Never clean the tip with coarse, abrasive
materials like files.
• If oxide forms on the tip, lightly rub with abrasive
paper, wipe clean, then immediately reheat and
re-tin the tip to prevent oxidation of the wettable
surface.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents,
rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and
malfunctioning.
