Inserting / changing the batteries
• Pull the battery holder out backwards from the battery
compartment(4),asshownintheadjacentgure.
• Insert three AAA type batteries (not included) into the battery holder
and/orreplacetheoldbatteries.Takecaretoinsertallbatterieswith
thecorrectpolarityasshowninsidethebatteryholder.
• Slidethebatteryholderbackintothebatterycompartment.
Change the batteries as soon as the LED on the
battery indicator (2) lights up.
Mounting
• Installthemountingclip(6)ontoyourbike'shandlebarasshowningures1to4.
• Inserttheheadlightintotheholder.Pushtheheadlightbackwardsuntilitclicksintoplace(gure5).
• Toremovetheheadlight,pressthereleaseleverdownwardsandremovetheheadlightfromtheholderbypullingittowards
you(gure6).

Disposal
a) Product
Electronicdevicesarerecyclablewasteandmustnotbedisposedofinthehouseholdwaste.
Attheendofitsservicelife,disposeoftheproductaccordingtotherelevantstatutoryregulations.
Removeanyinsertedbatteriesanddisposeofthemseparatelyfromtheproduct.
b) Batteries
Youastheenduserarerequiredbylaw(BatteryOrdinance)toreturnallusedbatteries.Disposingoftheminthehousehold
wasteisprohibited.
Contaminatedbatteriesarelabelledwiththissymboltoindicatethatdisposalinthedomesticwasteisforbidden.
Thedesignationsfortheheavymetalsinvolvedare:Cd=Cadmium,Hg=Mercury,Pb=Lead(nameonbatteries,
e.g.belowthetrashiconontheleft).
Usedbatteriescanbereturnedtocollectionpointsinyourmunicipality,ourstoresorwhereverbatteriesaresold.
Youthusfullyourstatutoryobligationsandcontributetotheprotectionoftheenvironment.

Thisproductisabicyclelightandcanbemountedwithouttoolsusingthemountingclipincluded.Twobrightnesslevelsare
availableforselection.Thebatteryindicatorshowsyouwhenyouneedtochangethebatteries.Theproductispoweredby
threeAAAtypebatteries.
Forsafetyandapprovalpurposes(CE),youmustnotrebuildand/ormodifythisproduct.Ifyouusetheproductforpurposes
otherthanthosedescribedabove,theproductmaybedamaged.Inaddition,improperusecancausehazardssuchasshort
circuiting,re,electricshocketc.Readtheinstructionscarefullyandkeepthem.Makethisproductavailabletothirdparties

• Thedeviceisnotatoy.Keepitoutofthereachofchildrenandpets.

• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and
solvents.

• Attention,LEDlight:DonotlookdirectlyintotheLEDlight!Donotlookintothebeamdirectlyorwithoptical
instruments!
• IntheeventoffailureoftheLEDlight,thelightingunitmustbecompletelyreplaced.
• ChangethebatteriesassoonasthetheLEDonthebatterycontrolsystemlightsup.
• Correctpolaritymustbeobservedwhileinsertingthebatteries.
• Batteriesshouldberemoved fromthedeviceifitisnotusedforalongperiodof timeto avoiddamage
throughleaking.Leakingordamagedbatteriesmightcauseacidburnswhenincontactwithskin,therefore
usesuitableprotectiveglovestohandlecorruptedbatteries.
• Batteriesmustbekeptoutofreachofchildren.Donotleavebatterieslyingaround,asthereisrisk,that
childrenorpetsswallowthem.
• Allbatteriesshouldbereplacedatthesametime.Mixingoldandnewbatteriesinthedevicecanleadto
batteryleakageanddevicedamage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into re. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries.Thereisariskofexplosion!
• Consultanexpertwhenindoubtaboutoperation,safetyorconnectionofthedevice.
• Maintenance,modicationsandrepairsaretobeperformedexclusivelybyanexpertorataqualiedshop.
