• To insert the simmering basket, place it into the mixing jug. To ensure that water can drain from the simmering
basket, align the spout on the simmering basket with the spout on the mixing jug.
• To remove the simmering basket, hook the handle on the simmering basket to the hole on the spatula, and then
remove it from the mixing jug.
g) Steamer with steaming attachment and lid
Always use the grips to hold the steamer (12), steaming attachment (13) and lid (14). Keep your hands well
away from the hot surface and any escaping steam. In addition, keep the appliance well away from people
andshelves.Nevercoverthesteamerduringuse.
When removing the steamer, ensure that your hands do not come into contact with escaping steam or hot
water.
Placethesteameronaheatproofsurfaceoncethefoodhasnishedcooking.
Only use the steamer together with this multi-cooker. It is not suitable for use in ovens or microwaves.
• The steamer is designed to steam large pieces of food. Add water to the mixing jug (do not exceed the maximum
0.5 L mark).
• The steamer can be used with or without the steaming attachment. Use the steaming attachment if you want to to
steam 2 layers of food. Place foods that take longer to steam on the bottom. Foods that take less time to steam
should be placed on the steaming attachment.

• To insert the steamer, place it onto the mixing jug. The mixing jug should
be locked to the base station with the lid attached, without the measuring
cup.Thebottomofthesteamer should be ush with the rim of the lid
(see
1
).
• To remove the steamer, lift it off the lid using the handles on each side.
h) Spatula
Only use the spatula (8) that comes with the product. Do not insert any other kitchen utensils into the
mixing jug, as this may damage the blade unit or cause injury.
Neverinsertthespatulaintothemixingjugwhenthemixingattachmentisrotating.
• The spatula is designed to:
- Scrape out the contents of the mixing jug.
- Stir the contents of the mixing jug (without the mixing attachment): Stop or pause the cooking process, and then
removethemeasuringcupandinsertthespatulaintotherellopening(16)asfarasitwillgo.Thesafetycollar
prevents the spatula from coming into contact with the blade unit.
- Remove the simmering basket (11): Hook the spatula onto the simmering basket.
- Hold the simmering basket in place when water escapes.
