Understanding body mass index
The body mass index is used to interpret
your body weight. You can calculate your
BMI by diving your weight (in kilograms)
by your height squared (in square
metres). The watch calculates your BMI
automatically.
Optimum body mass index according to age

25-34 20-25
35-44 21-26

Your recovery pulse (the rate at which your heart rate decreases after exercise) indicates your
tnesslevel.Thequickeryourheartratedropsafterexercise,thebetteryourtnesslevel.
• Todisplayyourtnesslevel,brieypresstheSELbuttonintrainingmode("FITNESSLEVEL"
will be shown at the bottom of the display).
• To monitor your 5-minute cool-down period, press the SET button immediately after your
workout.Afterthecool-downperiod,yourtnesslevelwillbecalculated anddisplayedon
the watch.

• The following data is shown during the cool-down period:
- Heart symbol with progress bar
- Your heart rate will be recorded if the SET button was
pressed (on the left side of the display).
- Your current heart rate is shown on the right of the display.
- The timer for the 5-minute cool-down period is shown at
the bottom of the display.
