• Ifthewatchismeasuringyourheartrate,theheartsymbolwillstarttoash.
• If you are wearing the chest strap and your current heart rate is displayed, the watch will
always indicate your current heart rate as a percentage of your maximum heart rate. Your
maximumheartrateiscalculatedfromthedatainyouruserprole.
a) Setting the workout duration
• Intrainingmode(HRM),brieypresstheSELbuttontodisplaythetrainingtimer("TIMER"
will be shown at the bottom of the display). The timer starts automatically when a heart rate
signal is detected.
• An upwards arrow will be displayed when your heart rate is above the limit. A downwards
arrow will be displayed when your heart rate is below the limit.
• The duration of your workout is shown at the bottom of the display.
BrieypresstheSETbuttontotogglebetweentheworkoutduration,workouttimewithinthe
training zone ( ), workout time in excess of the training zone ( ) and workout time below the
training zone ( ).
• Hold down the SET button for three seconds. "HOLD TO RESET" will be displayed while you
hold down the button. Release the button once the time has been reset.
b) Viewing saved heart rate data
• Intrainingmode,brieypresstheSELbuttontodisplaysavedheartratedata("MEMORY"
will be shown at the bottom of the display).
• Your current heart rate is shown in the middle of the display.
• The maximum, minimum and average heart rate values are shown at the bottom of the
display. Press the SET button to toggle between the different values.
• Hold down the SET button for three seconds. "HOLD TO RESET" will be displayed while you
hold down the button. Release the button once the saved heart rate data has been deleted.
c) Training zones
• Intrainingmode,briey pressthe SELbutton todisplaythe trainingzone ("Zone"will be
shown at the bottom of the display).
• The upper limit of the training zone is shown at the bottom of the display, and your current
heart rate is shown in the middle of the display.
