11. Safety features
The juicer features 2 safety mechanisms.
• The juicer features a double safety switch function. The juicer can only be switched on if the cover (4) and the
locking arm (13) are properly installed. If the cover or locking arm is not properly installed, the safety mechanism
will stop the device.
• The juicer turns off when reaching a temperature of 110 ºC. If using the juicer for more than 3 minutes at a time, if
applying too much pressure on the centrifugal screen, or if the openings on the bottom of the device are blocked,
the overheat protection feature will be activated.
12. Troubleshooting
Problem Possible solution
No function. Check if the mains plug has been connected properly.
Check if the cover is properly installed on the motor assembly and if the
lockingarmisippedupandproperlyalignedwiththerecessesinthe
cover.
Has the overheat protection been activated? Turn the rotary control to 0,
unplug the device from the mains and let the device cool down to room
temperature, before switching the device on again.
Bad juicing results. Checkthetypeoffruit/vegetable.Referto“c)Tipsandnotes”formore
information about suitable food.
Check the centrifugal screen for residue or blockage. Empty or clean
the centrifugal screen.
