9. Before rst time use
• Removeallpackagingmaterialandchecktheproductforcompletenessandanydamage.Donotuseifthejuicer
or accessories are damaged.
• To remove any production residues, clean the product and all removable parts as described in chapter
“13. Cleaning and care”.
• Keep the cleaning brush at a separate location.
10. Operation
The blades of the centrifugal screen are sharp. Handle them carefully when assembling, cleaning or
emptying the pulp collector. This poses a risk of injury! Hold the centrifugal screen by its upper
edge only!
Always switch off the juicer before attaching or removing single parts.
Protect the product from hot surfaces (e.g. stove).
Usetheproductondry,at,heat-resistantandsolidsurfaces(e.g.kitchenworktop)only.
a) Assembly, installation and connection
Connect the mains plug to a wall socket only after you have fully assembled the juicer.
To facilitate cleaning the pulp collector (19), you may cover it with a thin plastic bag. When the pulp collector
is full, remove and dispose of the plastic bag including the pulp.
• Place the pulp collector (19) on the collector mount (18).
• Placethecentrifugalscreen(6)onthemotorassembly(15).Makesurethespout(7)isperfectlyalignedwiththe
recess of the motor assembly.
• Place the centrifugal screen (5) on the driving wheel of the motor assembly. Once the centrifugal screen is aligned
with the recesses of the driving wheel, press the centrifugal screen down onto the motor assembly. It will lock into
place. The centrifugal screen can then be easily turned inside the centrifugal screen holder.
• Place the cover (4) on the motor assembly and pulp collector.
• Flip the locking arm (13) up towards the recesses (3) in the cover. The locking arm will lock into place.
• Insert the pusher (1) into the feeder chute (2).
• Removethesmalllid(8)fromthespout(7).
• Place the juice container (12) below the spout and then place the lid (11) on the juice container. The opening inside
the lid must enclose the spout.
• Thebottomofthedevicefeaturesseveralsuctioncups(14).Pressthedeviceagainstaatsurface(e.g.kitchen
worktop) free of dust, dirt, moisture or grease before starting operation.
• Fully unwind the mains cable and connect the mains plug to a wall socket.
• The juicer is then ready for use.
