Overheat protection
The heating plate will turn off automatically if the pan becomes too hot and an alarm will sound. Wait for a
few minutes until the pan and the hob have cooled down before turning the hob back on. It is normal for the
heating plate to become warm during use. Caution! Do not touch the hot surface of the hob.
Troubleshooting and error messages
Error message Cause Possible solution
E0 The pan is not suitable (no magnetic
bottom, diameter is smaller than 12 cm),
or there is no pan on the ceramic
heating plate.
Use a suitable pan. For more
information, see "Suitable pans".
E1 The mains voltage is less than 85 V. Check the mains connection when
the voltage returns to normal.
E2 The mains voltage is above 275 V. Connect the hob to a standard
earthed 230 V socket.
E3 The hob is faulty, or the heat sensor is
shorted or not connected properly.

assistance.
E4 The hob is faulty, or the heat sensor
(IGBT) is shorted or not connected
properly.
Wait for a minute and then try again.
Please contact customer service for
assistance.
E5 The temperature of the hob surface is
too high (more than 260 °C).
Turn off the hob, unplug the mains
cable and leave the hob to cool
down. If this happens repeatedly,
please contact customer service for
assistance.
E6 The temperature of the heat sensor is
too high (more than 105 °C).
Remove any objects that are
blocking the air vents or fan. If the
fan does not move when the hob
is switched on, take the hob to a
specialist repair centre.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before cleaning the hob, unplug the mains cable and leave the hob to cool down.
Do not pour liquids over the hob or submerge it under water.
Always disconnect the hob from the mains before cleaning it.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions (e.g. thinners or benzene),
as these could damage the casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
Use a lint-free cloth soaked in water and washing-up liquid to clean the exterior of the hob.
Wipe off food residue using a damp cloth and a small amount of washing-up liquid. If necessary, use a
cooktop scraper.to remove stubborn residue.
Clean the product from time to time using a special cleaning agent.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and uff from the air vents.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
