g) Li-Ion Rechargeable Batteries

• Whenconnectingtherechargeablebatteryinthehandset,ensureproperpolarity;theplugwillonlytin

one direction. Do not use any force for connection.

• Disconnect the rechargeable battery from the handset if you do not use the handset for an extended

period (e.g. during storage), to prevent damage to the rechargeable battery from deep discharge. A

deep-discharged rechargeable battery may leak; deep discharge will also render the rechargeable bat-

tery useless.

• A leaking or damaged rechargeable battery may cause acid burns in case of skin contact. Therefore, use

suitable protective gloves to handle a damaged rechargeable battery.

• Always keep the rechargeable battery out of the reach of children. Do not let the rechargeable battery lie

around openly! Danger of swallowing!

• Donotdisassembletherechargeablebattery,donotshort-circuititanddonotthrowitintore.Never

push any objects into the battery. There is a danger of explosion!
