b) Plug-in Mains Adapters
• The two mains adapters are constructed pursuant to protection class II.
• Only connect the mains adapters to proper mains sockets of the public mains.
• The mains sockets for the mains adapters must be close to the indoor unit or the charging tray and must
be easily accessible.
• The mains adapters are only designed for use in a dry, enclosed inner room; they must not become
damp or wet. There is danger to life from electric shock!
• Do not pull the mains adapters from the mains socket by pulling the cable.
• Protect the cable of the mains adapters from sharp edges.
• If a mains adapter is damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electric shock!
First deactivate all sides of the mains socket to which the mains adapter is connected (e.g. switch off the
respective fuse or turn out the fuse. Then deactivate the associated FI protection switch).
Then unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket. Replace the damaged mains adapter with a new
one of the same build.
c) Indoor Unit
The indoor unit is only suitable for installation and use in dry, closed inner rooms. Do not expose the indoor
unit to direct sunlight, heat, cold, dust, dirt, dampness or wetness; otherwise, it may be damaged!
d) Charging Tray
• The charging tray for the handset is only suitable for operation in dry, closed rooms. Do not expose
the charging tray to direct sunlight, heat, cold, dust, dirt, dampness or wetness; otherwise, it may be
damaged!
• Only set up the charging tray on a horizontal, stable surface. Protect expensive furniture surfaces from
impressions and scratches and discolouration with suitable pads.
e) Mobile Unit
• The handset must not get damp or wet. Do not expose the handset to direct sunlight, heat, cold, dust,
dirt, dampness or wetness; otherwise, it may be damaged!
• When using the handset (and the integrated speaker), some hearing aids may emit unpleasant hum-
ming.
f) Outdoor Unit
• The outdoor unit is suitable for indoor and outdoor use (degree of protection IP24). However, it must
never be operated in or under water; it would be destroyed by this.
• Install the outdoor unit outdoors under a protruding roof (e.g. an awning).
• Ensure that the connection cable is not crushed, bent or damaged by sharp edges.
