and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.
7. Troubleshooting

The indicator “Add water”
lights up
No water.
Switch off device, fill up with
water and switch on again.
The indicator
“Ice” lights
up.
Too much ice in the ice cube
basket.
Remove ice from the ice cube
basket.
The indicators “Add water”
and “Ice” lights up.
Ice scoop is immobilised.
Check whether ice is blocking
the ice scoop. If not this is not
the case, contact qualified
technician.
Ice cubes stick to each
other.
The ice cube making process
is taking too long.
Switch off device and switch on
again when ice cubes are
melting.
Select S – small to produce
smaller ice cubes.
The water temperature in the
container is too low.
Exchange water in the
container. The optimal water
temperature is between 7° -
32° C.
The ice cube making
process is normal but does
not produce any ice cubes.
The room temperature or the
water temperature in the
container is too high.
Make sure room temperature is
below 32° C and put colder
water into the container.
Cooling agent has run out.
A qualified technician should
check it.
The cooling tubes are blocked.
A qualified technician should
check it.
The power supply was cut
off by mistake during the
ice cube making process.
The ice cube making process
is automatically stopped.
Switch off the device and pull
the plug not the cable. Wait for
a few minutes, and then
carefully remove the ice cubes.
Switch on again.
The control lamp is flashing
on the control panel.
8. Waste disposal
Discarding old devices
At the end of its service life the discarded device has to be disposed in accordance to the national
regulations. It is advisable to contact a company which is specialized in waste disposal, or just contact
the local disposal service in your community.
