There are various ways of melting chocolate:
Melting chocolate in a microwave oven
• Cut chocolate into pieces and melt it in a dish meant for use in a microwave oven.
At the end add the required amount of oil and stir.
• Before filling the bowl with chocolate, it is necessary to start the fountain and heat it
for approx. 5 minutes. See chapter „Starting the worm screw – achieving the
fountain effect
“.
Melting chocolate in a pot (with oil)
• Heat (not too much!) the required amount of oil / fat in a covered pot on a small fire.
Add ground chocolate and melt it, still stirring till it is smooth.
• Before filling the bowl with chocolate start the fountain and heat it for approx. 5
minutes. See chapter „Starting the worm screw – achieving the fountain
effect
“.
Melting chocolate in hot water
1. Heat water in a pot (do not boil!).
2. Put a bowl of an appropriate size (a pot) in such a way that it does not touch the
bottom.
3. Put the ground chocolate in the bowl (the pot). The chocolate cannot be in contact
with water.
4. As soon as the chocolate melts completely, add the required amount of oil / fat
and stir it all with a spoon.

CAUTION!
• The unit is ready for use when it has been set up and heated as described in
„Installation and warming“ on page 8.
• The mix is ready for filling when the chocolate is fully melted and of thin
consistency.
• The prepared chocolate must be of thin consistency. Always add oil/grease to
the chocolate.
