Preparing chocolate
CAUTION!
While melting chocolate you should add to it – just as it is described in the
operating instructions – cooking oil or coconut fat.
THIS IS ALSO NECESSARY WHEN USING SPECIAL CHOCOLATE FOR FONDUE
OR CHOCOLATE FOUNTAINS (CHOCOLATE IN TABLETS AND OTHERS).
As a simple rule, you should use the proportions: for 1 kilogram of chocolate -
approx. 150 ml of cooking oil. The chocolate mass should possess a liquid
consistency.
CAUTION!
Using chocolate without additional oil or fat can damage the unit and result in a
loss of the guarantee.
CAUTION!
Do not use chocolate with additions such as e.g. with nuts, almonds or crocant
because they may block the worm screw (2).
The smaller are the pieces of chocolate, the faster is the process of their melting.
Melt 3,5 kg of chocolate maximum.
