WARNING! Hot surface!
When in use the container is very hot. To avoid burns, never touch the container
with bare hands. To remove the container from the base, hold it by the handle.
7. After the device goes off, the frothed milk is ready.
Heating milk
• Fix the spiral frother to the bottom of the container.
• Pour fresh, cold milk into the container, up to the upper „MAX” marking (2).
• Plug the device into a grounded socket.
• Press the ON/OFF button. The control light by the button will come on.
• The milk in the container will be stirred and heated.
• If the device will not be used further, disconnect it by removing the plug from its socket.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
6.1 Safety advice
o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power socket (pull the power plug!!!) and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and the
plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets. Therefore, you must not
use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
6.2 Cleaning
o Wash the device regularly.
o Remove the device’s plug from its socket prior to washing. Leave the device to cool.
o For easier washing, remove the spiral frother and lid from the container. Wash these
elements in warm water with a washing-up liquid. Rinse under running water in order
to remove all washing-up liquid.
o Pour a small amount of warm water into the container after each use. This water
prevents any remaining milk and other substances from drying and sticking to the
Teflon coating. This makes it easier to wash the device, and during the next use
helps to avoid scorching of such substances.
