5.5 Handling accessories
DANGER
Non-certified accessories endanger explosion protection.
There is a risk of fatal injury in an explosive atmosphere!
Only use original accessories from BARTEC/ZEBRA.
Only permitted outside the potentially explosive atmosphere:
Charge battery.
Insert/replace SD card.
Remove/replace screen protector.
Further information is also provided by the ZEBRA documentation.

Work steps:
1. Charge the battery only outside hazardous areas.
2. Use only batteries which have been tested or certified by BARTEC for this
purpose.
3. Insert the battery with the battery contacts facing forwards into the battery
compartment under the keypad.
4. Make sure that the battery’s charging contacts agree with the charging contacts
in the battery compartment.
5. Push the battery into the battery compartment until it locks into place.
