DISASSEMBLY OF PISTON SYSTEM
Note
Disassemble the gas piston and spring assembly only when dirty or damaged.
1. Depress gas plug detent. Rotate gas plug until plug notch aligns with gas
block shoulder. (Figure 23.)

2. Remove gas plug from gas block and tilt gun muzzle down. (Figure 24).
Gas piston will fall free through front of the gas block. (Figure 25).
