Remove a System
Log in to the device in the HA configuration that you are removing from the configuration, and use the page tonot ADVANCED > Backup
complete the system configuration backup.
Log into the Barracuda Message Archiver you want to from the HA configuration, navigate to the remove ADVANCED > High
page, and in the section, complete the following:Availability Cluster Settings
Change or clear the field.Cluster Shared Secret
Click ; the Barracuda Message Archiver is now unable to communicate with the other system in the HASave Changes
configuration, and any messages arriving on the other system after this time are not duplicated on the system you are .removing
On the system you are , delete the Barracuda Message Archiver from the table, and click removing Clustered Systems Save

The following email rule specifies that a mirrored copy of an email is created for any
email in the queue that is not already destined for the Barracuda Message Archiver.
This rule prevents looping of mirrored messages.

Log into CommuniGate Pro as the Administrator, and E-mail Queue Rules section, set the following
conditions:

If you are replacing a Barracuda Message Archiver, it is highly recommended that you contact
Barracuda Networks Technical Support prior to removing it from a High Availability (HA) configuration.
Because of the large volume of data, you must take great caution during the separation process so as
to minimize downtime and potential data loss.
