Ultrafilter Installation (See Fig. 7)
See Water Connection Details section for information on
push-to-connect fittings. Remove the ultrafilter from its
protective bag. Install the ultrafilter as follows:
1. Remove the screws securing the EASYpure II
UV/UF top cover. Remove the cover.
2. Remove restraints (twist tie) from the three
tubes.
3. Referring to Fig. 6, remove the cap on the top
side port of the ultrafilter (make sure the bottom
cap on the bottom side port is secure).
4. Align the ultrafilter (side ports should face the
back of the unit) and push the bottom fitting
tightly into the bottom connector.
5. Push the top fitting of the ultrafilter into the top
connector, making sure the connection is tight.
6. Secure the ultrafilter with the strap. Side ports
will be facing the back of the unit.
7. Connect tubing with luer fitting to the top side
port.
8. Replace the EASYpure II UV/UF top cover and
secure it with screws removed in step 1.
