Shopping on Your NOOK
Introduction
NOTE: To access the NOOK Store on your NOOK, you must be connected to a Wi-Fi network. If you are in
an area with Wi-Fi access but you are not connected to a network, your NOOK will guide you through
the process of connecting.
To begin shopping, tap on the Shop button in the NOOK Navigation Menu at the bottom of the Home screen. Your
NOOK displays the NOOK Store. A sample screen is shown here.
The main screen of the NOOK Store oers several features to make shopping fast and easy.
A Wishlist icon (a heart) appears near the upper right corner of the screen.
The Wishlist displays any Shop items you have saved to your Wishlist on your NOOK. Note that the Wishlist on
your NOOK is independent of the Wishlist for your account on BN.com or NOOK.com.
A Search icon (a magnifying glass). appears in the upper right corner of the screen.
Tap this field to open a Search tool you can use to search for authors, titles, topics, and other information in the
Shop.
Three tabs appear in a row across the top of the Shop. Each tab leads to a dierent area of the NOOK Store:
BOOKS - opens a window for browsing books
NEWSSTAND - opens a window for browsing magazines and newspapers
TEENS - opens a window for browsing books and periodicals for teens
A display area in the center of the screen presents oers and recommendations from our booksellers. You can
swipe left and right to scroll through these oers and recommendations.
Popular Lists, such as the NOOK Top 100, appear below the display area. Tap on a list to see its contents.
To learn more about any book or periodical, tap on its cover.
