• Serial Reads, which serves up a hand-picked book in FREE
increments over the span of a month
To access B&N Readouts, tap the B&N Readouts icon (book flipping pages
in a circle) in the NOOK Navigation Menu on the Home screen.
To open a content selection for reading, tap the Read Excerpt link at the end
of the content’s excerpt in a stream. B&N Readouts displays several pages
of content from the book or article you selected.
Use the up and down arrows at the bottom of the screen to scroll through
the selection.
At any time, you can exit the selection and return to the previous B&N
Readouts stream by tapping the back arrow in the upper left corner of the
screen.
Buying Content through B&N Readouts
At the end of each B&N Readouts selection, tap View Details. The Shop
page will appear where you have the option to Buy the book, download a
Free Sample or add to your Wishlist by tapping the heart icon in the upper
right corner.
