3. If you’re using the default setup, your NOOK begins downloading
the book once you tap Confirm.
4. If you’ve set up your Bookstore to require that your NOOK (or
BN.com) account password be entered every time anyone makes a
purchase on your NOOK, a dialog box opens. Tap in the Password
field and enter the password for your account. Tap OK.
NOTE: You can configure your NOOK to prompt you for a
password before you make a purchase. To set up your NOOK to
require a password, visit Settings and open the Bookstore settings
page.
5. To cancel the transaction without buying, tap the Cancel button. Tap
the back arrow in the upper left corner to close.
Buying a Single Issue of a Magazine or Newspaper
1. Open the details page for the magazine or newspaper you want to
buy.
2. Tap the Buy Issue button. A dialog box opens, asking you to
confirm your purchase.
3. Tap the Confirm button to confirm your purchase. Once you have
confirmed your purchase, your NOOK downloads the issue. The
Confirm button changes to a button labeled Read.
4. Tap the Read button to begin reading the issue.
Buying a Subscription to a Magazine or Newspaper
Your NOOK offers free 14-day trials of magazines and newspapers. You are
eligible for one free trial for each newspaper and magazine.
To start your free 14-day trial:
1. Open the details page for the magazine or newspaper you want.
