• Information about wireless connectivity is in “Wireless Connectivity” on page 56.
• Your
NOOK has an Airplane mode that turns o the radio. It should be used on airplanes. For
more information, see “Use on Airplanes” on page 37.
• Your
NOOK should be fully o when stowed onboard an airplane. For more information, see
“Checked Baggage” on page 38.
• When around sensitive electronic equipment, ask whether you can use your
NOOK. You might
need to use Airplane mode. In some places, for example in a hospital, you might be asked to
not use your device. For more information, see “Electronic Equipment” on page 36.
• Use a shielded USB cable when connecting your
NOOK to a personal computer. The provided
USB cable is shielded.
