How to adjust the lens holder
1. Put a TLD 0.8 lens (with optical adapter) or a RLD 0.8 lens into the lens holder of the projector, the latter placed at 2 m from the
screen (A lens with a fixed nominal focus position would be best, but in absence of this, you can use the TLD 0.8).
2. Ensure the projector axis is perpendicular onto the screen and the projector is leveled.
3. Looking at the screen, turn the focus barrel counterclockwise until you hit the mechanical stop.
The lens is at near focus.
4. Loosen the lens lock screws 1 to 4 (turning counterclockwise), using an Allen key of 2.5 mm and turn the screw lock nut a few
turn counterclockwise.
5. Search for the in focus picture by moving a white paper perpendicular on the projector axis (image 11-2)
In focus picture is found before the screen or not:
- Before the screen (1): turn the nuts A, B and C equally clockwise until the picture is in focus on the screen center (3).
- Not before the screen (2) (meaning in focus picture is located behind the screen) : turn the nuts A, B and C equally counter-
clockwise until the picture is in focus on the screen center (3).
