7. Projector Cover Removal to access Modules

7.2.1.2 Side shield removal

How to remove the side shield

1. Remove the 4 screws (A) securing side shield to lamp house and Temperature/lens motor control board. (image 7-9)

2. Remove the side shield upwards (image 7-9).

How to remove the side cover

1. Remove the 4 screws (A) securing the side cover to projector base plat

2. Carefully move backwards the side cover to remove.

1. Remove the 7 screws (A1 & A2) securing side shield (A) to Power assembly and Input assembly. (image 7-11, image 7-12)

2. Move backwards the shield (A) to remove.
