The Display tab page is shown.

3. In the Resolution drop-down list, select the desired resolution or select Custom to enter a resolution (not present in the list)
manually.
Note: By de fault, the correct re solution is automatically set through the EDID (Extended Display Identification Data).
Note: The m aximum output resolution supported by ClickShare is 19 20 x 1200. This inc ludes Full HD 192 0 x 1080.
4. In the Standby Time out drop-down list, select the time interval of inactivity after which the d isplay output is disabled (standby
mode).
By default, the standb y time-out is set to ’Infinite’.
5. C lick Apply to confirm your changes.
Note concerning reduced blanking
The timings of the C lickShare Base U n it display output are based on the inform ation contained in the EDID of the m eeting room
display or projector. Such an EDID contains at least the following information:
• Information on supported “Established Timings” (most legacy timings, e.g. 720x400@70Hz, 88 Hz; 800x600@56Hz, 60Hz,
72Hz, 75 Hz; ... ; ...)
• Standard Timing Identifications (e.g. 1280x1024@60Hz , 1600x1200@60 Hz,...)
• Detailed Timing Information. This is the “Preferred Timing” of the disp lay and usually the most important information in the
EDID. It describes in full detail the preferred timing: pixel clock, active pixels, active lines, blanking, sync width, sync offset
(horizontal and vertical),...
When the ClickShare Base Unit display output is put in auto mode, the display output timings will be based on the Preferred Timing
as described in the meeting room display or projector EDID.
When resolution is selected manually, the timings o f this res olution are taken from the inform ation desc ribed in the meeting room
display or projector EDID. If the timing is not desc ribed in the EDID, the timing is g enerated by the Base Unit following the VESA
CVT standard with reduced blanking. The calculation is based on the official VESA calculation.
For example when the meeting room display or projector has native WUXGA resolution (1920x1200), this will be desc ribed by the
Detailed Timing I nformat
ion in its ED ID. In this case Full HD resolution (1920x1080) will not be described by the EDID. When in auto
mode, the B ase Unit will use the W UXG A timing as d escribed in the EDID. But wh en putting it in 1920x1080 mode manually, the
timing will be acc ording to VE SA CVT with reduced blanking.
