2. ClickShare Specifications
USB connector
Through the USB connector you can plug the Button in your laptop (for sharing your screen) or in the B ase U nit (for pairing the
Button to the Base Unit or updating its software).
Button
If you click the button, the content of your screen will be shown on the display. Clicking the button during the meeting will togg le the
sharing of your screen.
Holding the button for 2 seconds brings the content of your screen on the display full screen, removing oth
er sources currently
displayed.
LED ring
The LED ring indicates the current status of your ClickShare.
LEDs behavior Explanation
white blinking
the Button is plugged in the laptop and initializing or waiting for the user
to start the ClickShare application.
pairing/software update of the Button in the Bas e Unit is in progress.
static white
ClickShare is ready to start sharing y our screen.
pairing is done . You can now unplug the B utton from the Base Unit.
static red
sharing your screen w ith the display.
software update is done. You can now unplug the B utton from the Base Unit.
red blinking
an error occurred.
off (no light)
the B utton is not or not properly inserted into the USB port.
the Button might be defective.
the USB por t or computer might be defective.
Button label
The label at the bottom of th e B utton contains:
the Barco logo
the Barco part number
the serial num ber
the revision num ber
the production date ( month/year)
markings for applicable standards (CE, CCC, UL, ...)
markings for was te r egulation

Handle the Button cable w ith care. Rough handling might cause defects.
2.4 About the Tray
Tray layout
The function of the Tray is to hold the Buttons on the table after the m eeting is nished. The Tray can hold up to 5 Buttons.
