BG IF Vision / IF Sond Loops

1 DESCRIPTION
The IF vision signal as well as the IF sound 1 signal can be taken from the PULSAR. Another device
will use these IF signals (or one of them) and put the processed signal back to the P
ULSAR. Such a
device is e.g. a scrambler.

3 INSTALLATION
Please read this chapter carefully before installing the option.
The installation procedure is only necessary when ordering this option sepa-
rately. When ordering a P
ULSAR with IF Vision / IF Sound Loops, the installa-
tion has already been carried out during production.
For location of the boards, connectors and jumpers use the internal layout diagram
Before changing anything in the P
ULSAR, remove the power cord to switch off
the power supply.
3.1 Opening The PULSAR
•
Unplug the power cord to turn off the P
ULSAR.
•
Unscrew the nine screws (Torx 10) holding the top cover.
•
Pull the top cover backwards and remove it.
•
Loosen the nine screws (Torx 10) holding the bottom cover.
•
Remove the bottom cover.
3.2 Installing The Coaxial Cables
•
Remove the 4 black bushing domes on the VIS IF and SND IF positions. See chapter 4 : Layout.
