5 SETTINGS
This option is only available as an auxiliary input.
•
In the menu
MODE, you can select the CompIF AUX INPUT in the item DEFINE AUX INPUT.
•
Confirm by pressing
ENTER.
If the option Audio/Video Auxiliary input is installed, the P
ULSAR switches automatically from
MAIN to AUX, after a selectable delay. Otherwise it is only possible to toggle manually on the front. In
the menu DEFINE AUX INPUT, an extra selection will become available: VID/Baseband AUD. To-
gether with the option AUDIO SUBCARRIER extra input selections will become possible as well in the
DEFINE MAIN as in the DEFINE AUX input.

Scroll in the
MODE menu to the item EXT Comp IF ALC: the ALC can be turned ON or OFF by
pushing the
UP or DOWN arrow.
•
Confirm by pressing
ENTER.
•
If
ON is selected: the RF output level remains constant within the IF input range of +30 to +45
dBmV.
•
If OFF is selected there becomes an extra item selectable: EXT Comp IF GAIN. With this item
one can change the level of the IF input manually.
