4.3 Redundant operation
If operating two or more HYDRA COMPACT units, special hard- and software configurations can be made to avoid a
loss of source control in case that one display fails.
By using special layouts which complement one another, when being displayed on top of each other, all sources
and further information of both HYDRA COMPACT units can be displayed on one projection module, but of course
with less available space per source. Please refer to the iSTUDIO user’s manual, section Redundant Operation.
Configuration
The upper connector [1] on the output card is used to connect to the projection module; the lower one [2] is
used to connect to the overlay input card of another H
YDRA COMPACT and vice versa.
