3.2 Cabling
3.2.1 Power supply
Check the power rating on your outlet before connecting H
YDRA COMPACT to the wall outlet or
to a power strip. Contact your facilities manager or a qualified electrician if you are not sure
what type of power is supplied to your building.
H
YDRA COMPACT is designed to operate with single-phase power systems having a grounded
neutral conductor. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not plug into any other type of
power system.
The HYDRA COMPACT has three power inputs for connection to independent power nets. To connect HYDRA COMPACT to
the power supply, follow these steps:
• Plug the female end of the power cord into the mains connection [32, 33 or 34].

• Plug the male end of the power cord into the designated power outlet.
• Connect all power modules in this manner.
