Understanding Lookahead Preview

 Use the following steps to see how the BG button affects lookahead preview, when
one or more keys are on.
1. Select CAM 1 on the PST bus (it should still be selected).
2. In the Next Transition Group, press BG. This action arms the background layer
to transition.

Please note:
~ With BG selected, and both KEY 1 and KEY 2 turned off, the PST bus
will transition
under the two keys. In effect, by selecting BG only, you are
“holding”
KEY 1 and KEY 2.
~ The source selected on PST appears on PVW — because it is a part of
the next transition.
~ The lookahead PVW output shows the next BG source underneath KEY
1
and KEY 2.
3. Press CUT or AUTO TRAN to cut, mix or wipe BG under KEY 1 and KEY 2.
