5.2 Cables & Connectors
PXL Cable
PXL cables are designed to carry both power and data, and are available in a variety of lengths to span the distance from a PDB-5 or switch to the display,
as well as between each tile within the display. The gender of a PXL cable connector is determined by the power pins (the 3 large pins), each cable has a
male and a female connector.
Male PXL Connector - The male plug end of a PXL cable connects to an upstream source such as a PDB - 5 or upstream tile. The male end of a PXL cable
has a white shell, and mates with a white female socket.
Female PXL Connector - The female plug end of a PXL cable connects to a downstream sink such as a tile. The female end of a PXL cable has a black
shell, and mates with a black male socket.
PXL Cable Coupler (P/N 656-0500)
The male -female coupler can be used to extend the length of a PXL cable.
