4. Operation
Using Inputs
Input 8 is currently not implemented. If the input button is pressed, the following
message appears:

Remember that the Menu Context option on the User Preference Menu affects
the way that menus are displayed. Refer to the “User Preference” section on
page 63 for details.

Please note the following important points regarding the Auto Acquire mode:
If Auto Acquire is ON and a valid input is selected that does not have a saved
Input Config file associated with it, the system attempts to acquire the source,
save an Input Config file, and smoothly transition to the new source.
If Auto Acquire is OFF and a valid input is selected (either with or without a
saved Input Config file), the system compares the library file to the input’s
incoming timing.
~ If the timings match, the system transitions to the input.
~ If the timings do not match, the system displays black and the “Invalid
Signal” message appears.
One of three “auto acquire” conditions can exist when the new (unsaved) input is
selected, as listed in the following table:

The Input Config file will only be saved if the "Auto Input
Save" mode is ON in the User Preference Menu.
