Using Pipe Reducers with Ball Valves
This table provides estimated effective Cvs when using pipe
reducers with ball valve assemblies. Use these estimated
effective Cvs in place of the rated Cvs when reducers or
increasers are located within 6 pipe diameters upstream and 3
pipe diameters downstream of the valve.
