Hydraulic unit
does not lift
Low oil level
Make sure there is no oil leakage from
the Release Screw (59), Pressure
Adjustment Screw (57) or the valve
area, and then add oil.
Air in pump
See the ''BLEEDING THE AIR''
section on the previous page.
Worn O-ring in ram cylinder
Replace the O-ring (refer to ''Seal and
O-Ring Replacement'' on the previous
page).
Once lifted, pallet
jack lowers by
itself
Air comes into the oil
See ''BLEEDING THE AIR''.
Worn O-ring in ram cylinder
Replace the O-ring (refer to ''Seal and
O-Ring Replacement'').
Release valve not seated properly
See ''BLEEDING THE AIR''.
Pallet jack loaded beyond capacity
Reduce the load to within capacity.
Release valve not adjusted properly
Adjust the valve by using the Pressure
Adjustment Screw (57) and the
Release Screw (59).
Oil leakage from Release Screw (38) or
Pressure Adjustment Screw (40)
Tighten the Release Screw (59).
Replace O-rings on the Release Screw
(59) and/or the Pressure Adjustment
Screw (57). If leakage continues,
contact an authorized service center.
Fork does not
lower
Cam requires adjustment
Refer to the ''Up-Down Cam
Adjustment'' section on the previous
page.
Cam (14) is damaged
Replace the Cam (17).
Damaged push rods and/or linkages
Replace damaged parts. (It is
recommended that an authorized
service center perform this work.)
Lever does not
set at "Neutral"
