Doing so could lead to serious injury or death. This device does not include the self-checking redundant circuitry necessary to allow its use in personnel safety applications. A sensor failure or malfunction can cause either an energized or deenergized sensor output condition.

VTB Pick-to-Light Optical Touch Button Installation Consider ergonomic principles to avoid unnecessary fatigue in the installation of the hand controls. Install the touch buttons at a height and in a location that will be comfortable for the user. The following figure shows two methods for mounting the touch buttons, to prevent accidental switch actuation.
