Jellies are made with fruit juice combined with sugar and pectin.
Jellies are firmer than jam but are still soft enough to spread.

What is jelly?
Pectin is a natural gelling ingredient derived
from apple and citrus fruits. When used in the
preparation of homemade jams and jellies, pectin
produces a more natural fresh fruit flavor because
less cooking is required to achieve the proper set.
