Ifdirectventing,aflueadapterandadrafthoodarerequiredtobeinstalled.Theypreventthefluegases

leavingtheoventobeaffectedbytheairpressurechangesontheoutsideofthefluestackextending

outofthebuilding.Thefluepipefromthedrafthoodmustnotrundownwardsatanypointfromtheoven

tothefinaloutlet.Itshouldalwaysslantslightlyupwards.Forbestresults,isshouldrisestraightup.The

ventingsystemshallbeinaccordancewiththeNationalFuelGasCode,ANSIZ223.1/NFPA54andor

theCSAB149.1,NaturalGasandCSAB149.2,PropaneInstallationCodes,andlocalcodes.

Ifthefluerunsdirectlytothefreeairoutsidethebuilding,useawinddeflectororaULlistedventcapat

theendofthepipe.Terminationoftheventmustbeatleasttwofeetabovethehighestpartoftheroof

Theovenburnerflameshouldalwayshaveablueappearance.Thisindicatesagoodmixtureofairand

gas.WhenusingLPgas,theflamewillhaveablue-yellowappearance.Theremaybeintermittent

yellow-orangeflamenoticed.Thisiscausedbydustparticlesburningintheflame.

(2)TurnSelectorSwitchto“HI.”TheindicatorlightnearSelectorSwitchandovenlightwill

illuminate.

(3)Closethedoor.Ovenlightswillgooffandfanwillrun.Makesurefanisrotatingclockwise

lookingfromfront.

(4)PressOvenLightswitch.Ovenlightwillgoonandwillgooffwhenswitchisreleased.

(5)TurnGasCockDialto“ON”position(onlyforUSAandCanada).

(6)Turnthethermostatknob.Theindicatorlightnearthethermostatwillilluminateandthe

burnerswillcomeon.

(7)TurntheTimerKnobandsetatimeof2minutes.Attheendof2minutes,youshouldhear

thebuzzer.Turnthetimerknobto“0”,tostopthebuzzer.

(8)Opentheovendoors.Ovenlightswillgoonandburnersandfanwillgooff.

(9)TurnSelectorSwitchto“CoolDown”position.Thefanwillruntocooldowntheoven.

(10)TurnSelectorSwitchto“0”position.

(11)Closetheovendoors.
