Youremissioncontrolsystemwarrantycoverscomponentswhosefailure

wouldincreaseanengine'semission,includingelectroniccontrols,fuel injec-

tionsystem,carburetor,theignitionsystem,catalyticconverter,oranyother

systemutilizedinthisvehicleto controlemissionifitisoriginallyequipped.

Alsoincludedmaybehoses,connectorsandotheremission-relatedassem-

blies. Replacingorrepairingothercomponents(includingparts,labor,and

othercosts)notcoveredby thisemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyor the

standardwarrantyistheresponsibilityofthe owner.

Coverageof repairsunderthiswarrantyappliesonlywhenrepairsarecom-

pletedat anauthorizeddealeror repairfacility. TheDistributorwill notcover

repairsperformedoutsideofanauthorizeddealeror repairfacility. The useof

replacementpartsnotequivalentto theoriginalpartsmayimpairthe effective-

nessofyourvehicle'semissioncontrolsystem. If sucha replacementpartis

usedandanauthorizeddealerdeterminesit is defectiveor causesafailure of

awarrantedpart,yourclaimfor repairto bringyourvehicleintocompliance

withapplicablestandardsmaybedenied.

ThisEmissionControlSystemWarrantyisinadditionto the standardLimited

Warranty.

EXCLUSIONSANDLIMITATIONS

Thiswarrantydoesnotcoverthefollowing:

• Failuresor malfunctionsoftheemissioncontrolsystemscausedby

abuse,alteration,accident,misuse,the useofleadedgasoline.

• Replacementofexpendablemaintenanceitemsunlesstheyare

originalequipmentdefectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipundernormaluse,

andthefirstrequiredreplacementintervalfortheitemhas notbeenreached.

Expendablemaintenanceitemsincludebut notlimitedtosparkplugs,filters,

coolant,lubricants,gaskets,hoses,andbelts.

• Replacementsofpartsandotherservicesandadjustmentsfor

requiredmaintenance.

• Anyvehicleequippedwithanodometerorhourmeterwherethe

readingis alteredso thatactualmileagecannotbereadilydetermined.

• Repairsor replacementsasa resultof:

• Accident

• Misuse
