YOURWARRANTYRIGHTSANDOBLIGATIONS

Theemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyperiodfor thisvehiclebeginsonthe

datethevehicleis deliveredto thefirst purchaserotherthananauthorized

dealer,or thedate it isfirst usedasa demonstrator,lease,or company

vehicle,whichevercomesfirst andcontinuesfor 60monthsafterthatdate,or

5,000kin,whichevercomesfirst, providedtherehasbeennoabuse,neglector

impropermaintenanceofyourvehicle.Wherea warrantableconditionexists,

theDistributorwillrepairyourvehicleat nocosttoyou,includingdiagnosis,

partsandlabor. Ifanemission-relatedpartonyourvehicleisdefective,the

partwillberepairedorreplacedby the Distributor.Thisis youremission

controldefectswarranty.

OWNER'SWARRANTYRESPONSIBILITIES

Asthevehicleowner,youare responsiblefor the performanceof the required

maintenance.Youshouldmaintaina recordof all maintenanceperformedon

yourvehicleandretainall receiptscoveringmaintenanceonyourvehicle.

Youmaynotbedenieda warrantyclaimsolelybecauseof yourfailure to

ensurethe performanceofall scheduledmaintenanceor lackof maintenance

recordsor receipts.Youareresponsiblefor presentingyourvehicleto an

authorizeddealerassoonas a problemexists.Thewarrantyrepairsshouldbe

completedina reasonableamountoftime,nottoexceed30days.

Asthevehicleowner,youshouldbeawarethatyoumaybe deniedyour

warrantycoverageifyourvehicleora parthasfailed duetoabuse,neglect,

impropermaintenance,or unapprovedmodifications.

WARRANTYCOVERAGE

TheDistributorwarrantsthateachnew2009and latervehicle:

• isdesigned,built,andequippedso asto conformatthetimeof initial

retailpurchasewithallapplicableregulationsoftheUnitedStatesEnviron-

mentalProtectionAgency,andtheCaliforniaAirResourcesBoard;and

• isfree from defectsinmaterialandworkmanshipwhichcausesuch

vehicleto fail to confirmwithapplicableregulationsof the UnitedStatesEn-

vironmentalProtectionAgencyorthe CaliforniaAir ResourcesBoardfor the

periodsspecifiedabove.
