riding.Alwaysfollow theguidelinesbelowfor inspectingandservicingthe

chain.

Failingto maintainthechainproperlybeforeeachridingcouldbe

hazardous.

Ridingwiththechaininpoorconditioncouldleadto anaccident.

Besuretoinspectandmaintainthechainbeforeriding,accordingtothese

Inspectingthe Drive Chain

Wheninspectinqthechain,lookfor thefollowinq:

Loosepins

Damagedrollers

Dryor rustedlinks

Kinkedor bindinglinks

Excessivewear

Ifyoufind anythingwrongwiththedrivechain,solvetheproblembyrepairing

orreplacingthechain. Ifnecessary,consultyourauthorizedservicecenter.

If itisdeterminedthedrivechainisdamaged,checkthe sprocketalsofor

damage. Awornchaincanhaveanadverseaffectonthefront andrear

sprockets. Wheninspectinqthesprockets,lookfor thefollowinq:
